This is a traditional Masala chai blended with functional mushrooms in loose leaf form. A perfect blend of Organic Fair Trade Certified black tea, organic ginger, organic cinnamon, organic fennel seed, organic cardamom, organic nutmeg, organic pepper, organic cloves, ground Reishi, ground Turkey Tail, ground Chaga mushrooms and full-spectrum double extracts.
We took great care to develop a perfect balance of chai spice and functional mushrooms. It makes a truly decadent chai, full of the unique flavors of cardamom, cinnamon, fennel and the spice of black pepper.

During the product development stage we learned a lot about chai, from traditional recipes to the chemistry of chai. Chai spice binds to fat molecules, so the fattier the milk or milk substitute, the better. We recommend using whole milk or half and half, if non dairy; oat milk or coconut milk. We also recommend adding a touch of heavy cream/coconut cream at the end to add some creaminess.
This product is best made as a chai latte
Ratio is 1 tablespoon of chai mix per 1 cup of milk or milk substitute.
Recipe for 1 cup of chai
- Bring 1 cup of milk to a simmer
- Add 1 Tablespoon of chai mix and stir
- Simmer for 5-10 minutes stirring occasionally
- Strain using cheesecloth or filter bag
- Sweeten with sugar or sugar substitute to taste
