Turkey Tail (Trametes Versicolor) is an eye-catching polypore fungi that gets its name from its unique features that resemble the feathers of a wild turkey. This fungi grows on decaying wood and is one of the most prevalent species of mushrooms occuring in the wild.
Turkey Tail is a medicinal powerhouse that was the inspiration behind developing PSP, or polysaccharide peptide (currently being tested as an anti-tumor drug). Turkey Tail contains polysaccharides; PSK and PSP and many other bioactive medicinal constituents that may be beneficial to multiple ailments.
